OAK Airport Help

Oakland International AirportOakland, CA

OAK is the East Bay's airport — smaller and far easier to navigate than SFO, but with fewer in-airport assistance options. Two terminals (1 and 2) sit side-by-side; curbside drop-off is on a single ground-level roadway.

Pick your terminal

Each terminal at OAK has its own curbside layout, crowd patterns, and quirks. We've detailed each one — pick yours for what to expect and how a Buddy helps:

Terminal 1

Alaska · Hawaiian · Spirit · Allegiant · …

Single-level curbside — both arrivals and departures share the same roadway. Doors 1–6 along Airport Drive. International arrivals also process here.

Terminal 2

Southwest

Single-level curbside, just east of Terminal 1. Doors 7–12. Southwest's only OAK terminal — one consolidated check-in, but high volume during morning Vegas/LA banks.
